I feel like I never get around to updating anything on here ;) Things have been busy as usual. So here's my quick update on how the kiddos are doing...
Gabi has changed her name to Gabbie. Now that she can write it, she wants a say in how to spell it. She is becoming quite the bossy little lady of the house and is so fun to be around. Carla made her this super cute skirt <3 You can see more of her awesome stuff here: http://scientificseamstress.blogspot.com/
and she's still the best big sister ever!
Cam has had a great time lately and actually got some of my sewing projects. So often, the things I make go to the girls, fabric is easier to find, patterns are easier to find, they are just plain easier to sew for. I've been trying to make more for my fella though ;)
showing off his puppy costume he wore to preschool:
He still spends an absurd amount of time pretending to be a puppy. Gabbie has taught him to fetch and sit and stay...
Ellie is doing wonderfully as well. She is growing so fast and is the strongest little monkey. She rolled over from her back to her front today for the very first time!!!
Carla made her outfit above as well, what can I say, I'm a lucky gal. The gorgeous fabric is from Sis Boom by Jennifer Paganelli Her fabrics are to die for and are here:

Halloween pics are coming soon :) The kids looked so cute and I can't wait to show you guys how adorable my monkeys were on the big night :)

A trip to the park
I had big plans to take some amazing photos with my good camera at the park for the first time since Ellie got here. The time of day was perfect, close to sunset and I was ready to go. Unfortunately, we decided to go to a different park than the one we usually frequent and there were like 5 different birthday parties going on there. It was crazy crowded and busy so I quickly gave up on composing portraits of the kiddos at all and decided to just take a few snaps of them playing instead. The kids had a blast and Kev and I enjoyed being with them. Everyone who knows me will tell you I am not an outdoorsy girl, but parks are worth it to me for the kids enjoyment :)
After the playground they waded in the little creek until the sun went down. This pic was crazy noisy so I added some texture. If you are looking for great textures, I highly recommend those by Florabella Textures. Amazing textures and incredible customer service. Check them out here: http://florabellacollection.blogspot.com/ And the creator's Flickr here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/waitingforsophie/ and the Flickr group here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/florabella/
This is a classic example of what photogs like to call "mommy goggles" not much to recommend this image artistically or technically but I love it cuz I'm their mommy :) I love that they are in the same frame which rarely happens because Cam is nervous about posing for pics with the baby and I love that he is sorta standing over her as her big brother...
Gabi got back on the swing and had a blast which was great since she fell off of a swing and went boom just a few days ago. It was pretty traumatic for her at the time and I was so pleased to see it didn't stop her from going for it again :)
Poor Cam is a little out of focus here, I didn't have time to adjust my settings to compensate for multiple subjects when Kev suddenly crept up behind him for the pic, but I love this pic of him with his daddy just the same :)
Anyways, another weekend is coming to an end and I'm revving up for another crazy week of hangin with the little ones :)

Been a while....
It's been forever since I've found time to update things here. The reason for my absence is a beautiful new addition to our family :)
Say hello to Ellie who was born on the 2nd of July...

Gabi is in love with her and is the best spit up wiper, diaper fetcher, outfit chooser, pacifier replacer, and baby entertainer you will ever meet :)

Camden is...
um...
well...
Camden is just "Camden" he has a personality all his own and is just starting to get comfy with the baby. He likes to talk about how cute she is and say she likes him though so we're off to a good start.
Anyhow, I'm so happy to have her home with us and we are all enjoying the heck outta having a baby in the house again.

Mommy's Little Dancer
Gabi had her first of two recitals this past weekend for her dance classes. This one was at a local retirement home and the residents really enjoyed seeing the little ones do their dance numbers. Here are some pics of her in her super cute little outfit :)

She's growing up too darn quick!!! Oh........speaking of growing.......
um, yeah, about to pop! Nuff said!
